Annalise Curtin

Annalise was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and moved to the States when she was four years old to the Philadelphia suburb of West Chester, Pennsylvania. Growing up, Annalise had two Cairn Terriers who couldn’t have been more different. “Annie” was mellow, cuddly and incredibly smart, and “Zipper” was crazy and a bit strange but still incredibly cute. Unfortunately, “Annie” had to be put down at the age of 8 due to cancer, but “Zipper” is now 16 and as puppy like as ever. Currently, Annalise also has a wonderful shepherd mix named "Lady" who she adopted two years ago, and a cat named “Cat”.

Annalise was working in Cleveland at a dog day care with fellow trainer Maggie Gruner, where she had heard of Lorenzo’s Dog Training Team, but never knew much about it. After she had moved to Milwaukee, Annalise called to check in to see how Maggie was doing, and Maggie told her that she had joined Lorenzo’s Dog Training Team, and Annalise thought she would enjoy it as well. So, Maggie recruited Annalise and the rest is history.

Annalise knew being a professional dog trainer would be a good career choice for her as she has always had a love for dogs and hates seeing dogs who have fixable issues end up in shelters or worse, euthanized. She believes every dog deserves a happy home and she wants to help make that a reality.

Becoming a dog trainer with Lorenzo's Dog Training Team and meeting Lorenzo himself has changed Annalise’s life drastically. Annalise says she is excited about life and excited about what she is able to offer now. Annalise has always been a passionate person and she's ready to put her all into helping the dogs. She has also met some incredible people who she's excited to be on this team with!

Annalise hopes to live a happy life doing what she loves, working with dogs and playing music, as well as showing people how incredible their dogs truly are, keeping them out of shelters and in happy homes!
