Ascia Hancock

Ascia Hancock was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, where she still lives. She attended John Carroll University and played competitive soccer while majoring in Psychology. In 2014, her journey began as she self-trained her dog, Teddie, to help her with medical alerts for migraines. Through patience and persistence, Ascia was able to teach Teddie to alert her when her heart rate speeds up, as a warning five minutes before her attack comes on. She hopes to be able to help others form the same type of bond with their dogs.

As a former client of LDTT, Ascia wanted a career she would be excited about doing, so after speaking with her trainer, Dorian Graham, she knew Lorenzo’s was the perfect fit. When asked about why she chose LDTT, she stated, “Even though you’re in business for yourself, there’s a team behind you that wants to see you succeed. I have always had a team mindset because of growing up playing competitive sports.”

Her goals in life are to stay physically fit, grow her team of trainers, train service dogs, and to always have a positive outlook on life. When she’s not training dogs, Ascia likes to coach and play pick-up soccer and spend time with her little cousins.
