Bruce Maldonado

Bruce Maldonado was born and raised in Canton, OH, and currently resides in Canal Fulton. He attended college at Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, PA, where he studied psychology. Growing up, Bruce always had multiple animals in his house.  However, he took a specific interest in dogs after graduating college. He attended his first training, as a spectator, for police K-9 training, but at the time he just wasn’t sure how to get involved in training dogs.

Fast forward a few years to when Bruce contacted Lorenzo’s in hopes of correcting some unwanted behaviors in his dog, Zillo. He liked the results so much that he started to ask questions about becoming a trainer himself. With his love for dogs and seeing the complete 180 with his dog, he knew LDTT was exactly what he was looking for.

“To say this program saved Zillo’s life is an understatement. The fact that this team is so dedicated to keeping dogs in happy homes and out of shelters or being euthanized is what really draws me in. From my experience, I’ve been there on the last option. If I can help keep a dog in a happy home and bring the peace of mind to the owner, then that’s what it is all about. I want to provide the same feeling of comfort, peace, and gratification I had from my personal experience with my dog and the program.”

In his spare time, Bruce enjoys staying active. He likes working out, playing sports, and running around with his son, or the dogs. He also enjoys watching sports, mainly football.
