Amisha Thomas

Amisha Thomas was born and raised in Indiana, but now resides in Houston, Texas. As a commercial flight attendant of 20 years, she’s naturally good with people but Amisha’s love for dogs and her desire to have her own dog, August Eve, behave like the well-disciplined examples she often scoured the internet to see, were about to come true.

One day, on a flight she was working, she met one of LDTT’s trainers. His dog’s behavior and the technique used to train it were exactly what she was looking for. She was so enthralled by the notion that she too could possess the skills to do this, not only for her dog, but she could teach others as well. The pieces fell together, and she became part of our pack.

Her goals are to help families keep their dogs out of shelters and set them up for successful, healthy, and happy relationships.

In her down time, Amisha enjoys traveling to other countries, sky diving, socializing, games nights, and simply sitting down in her pajamas and reading a good book.
