Jacob Perez
Jacob Perez was raised in San Antonio, TX, and he currently calls San Diego, CA his home. At the age of 18, he joined the Marine Corps, where he served for six years on active duty, only to turn around and continue his service in the reserves. He was accepted into San Diego State University, and is finishing up a degree in Sports Medicine. Jacob is also a certified personal trainer, but it was his military experience, his job working at a pet store, along with his love of his first Pit Bull puppy that made him realize his desire to become a professional dog trainer. Seeing the progress his efforts made in his own dog gave him the passion to want to give that feeling to other dog owners.
After trying several dog training companies, a friend referred him to LDTT. The difference
was immediately apparent and Jacob knew he found the right place to train.
“With Lorenzo’s, I know that I can become a Master Trainer. I want to learn all of the skills
that they have to teach me, and I love being on a team. I would like to coach a team of dog trainers across the country, in every city that I love.”
In Jacob’s spare time, he enjoys learning Martial Arts, riding his motorcycle, and hanging out with his dogs, but most importantly, he loves spending time with his son.
