Galen Dudzik

PHOENIX, AZ

Galen was born in Illinois and raised in Wyoming, where she lived for years. While growing up, her family always had a dog. It wasn't until Galen was 16 when she got her own, a miniature Australian Shepherd named Jesse.

For as long as Galen can remember, she has always wanted to train animals, and started training horses at age 10. After graduating high school, she worked as a Vet Tech for four years, where her passion for animals grew even more. She saw, firsthand, that behavioral issues were a big part of why owners were choosing to euthanize their pets, and she wanted to help but at the time, she didn’t know exactly how.

After moving to Arizona in 2014, her coworker referred her to Lorenzo's Dog Training Team to seek help with her Husky mix, Nyia, who kept bolting out the door. The change in Nyia was incredible, and before seeing such positive results in her dog, Galen had no idea she could also make a living doing something she felt so passionate about.

She helped train four dogs with Nyia’s trainer, then decided to give her own dream a chance, and contacted Lorenzo's Dog Training Team again. This time, she was interested in becoming a trainer.

Galen is a well-loved and well-respected LDTT trainer now and she has been for years. As one of our Regional Directors, she has her sights set on becoming a Master Trainer and eventually contributing to the Mustang Heritage Foundation, where she will rescue and re-home horses in need. We have no doubt she’ll achieve every goal she sets for herself!

In her free time, Galen enjoys horseback riding, photography, and traveling, when she gets the opportunity, but most of her time is spent with her own dogs. Galen is excited to be working with such amazing and supportive people in Arizona, and she’s thrilled to be able to continue changing countless lives!
